Been using this bluetooth for almost 2 years. Since the price came down on these they are still very good headsets. This is actually my 3rd one. Since it's tiny it is easy to lose and very light weight. The ear piece will probably be the first to go but you can get 2 free earhooks if you go on jabra's website and search x10.
I've tried other bluetooths by different makers and models. This is my 2ND JABRA JX10 II bluetooth. I dropped my previous one too many times. None, compare to the quality of sound, volume and clarity. not only that you hear, but that othershear you.Best Bluetooth so far that i've used and i'm extremely picky.
Delivered quickly.Once I figured it out, and having used it now for about a couple weeks, I'm very pleased. Oh. But A week after I got the thing a storm moved through town, shutting down electricity.
It was necessary for me to download complete manuals both for the JX10 and the Verizon/Samsung phone for me to figure out how to get them to talk to each other. Finally found it, I wrapped it in a thick black shirt so we could go back to sleep. I agree with previous posts that it's wonderfully light, almost to the point where you forget you're wearing it.Instructions with the unit were sketchy.
We were awakened in the middle of the night by a blue flashing light, wondering: "What in the world." My first sleep-fogged impression was that we were surrounded by police cars; really, it's that bright. (A teenager could probably have done it in seconds). The little light on the thing is VERY bright in darkness. The steady red when charging and steady green when charged is no problem.
Last night I was still wearing it, walked through a dark hallway to the garage and the blue light was bouncing off the walls "What in the world. That's not a police car, it's my ear." That's more of an amusing distraction than a problem, except at 2 a.m.It annoys my wife at mealtime, so I put it in the ear away from her.
It's never given me problems. I've had this headset for a while now. The only issue is the earhook. It's the best one I've found. People never complain when I'm on it. It breaks often and needs to be replaced. If they can resolve that issue, this is a great headset.
The pairing process is a little different, I actually had to whip out the manual for this one. This is a very nice unit. Sound quality is on par with what you'd expect from any other unit in this price range. I don't like the long press time to activate the voice commands on my phone. The really nice thing is it comes with a car charger.
